Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for critically ill cardiovascular and surgical patients.
- Manage ventilators, CRRT, central lines, arterial lines, and multiple IV infusions.
- Monitor patients with advanced cardiac assist devices, including Impella pumps and IABPs.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and rapidly respond to clinical changes.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Assist with mentoring and supporting fellow nursing staff.
- Maintain complete and accurate electronic medical records.
- Promote a safe, patient-centered care environment.
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Montana RN license (or eligibility)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- PALS certification within six months of hire
- Recent ICU or Critical Care experience with cardiovascular surgery patients
Preferred
- 1–2 years of Cardiac Surgical ICU experience
- Experience with Impella devices, CRRT, and balloon pumps
- EPNC and TNCC certifications
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $115,000–$125,000 annually
- $25,000 Retention Bonus(external candidates)
