Location: Washington DC-Capital Hill, or National Harbor
Compensation:$38-$47 hour based on experience
Schedule: Full-time, 30+ hours per week
Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility / Rehabilitation Center
Reports To: Director of Rehabilitation

The Physical Therapist is responsible for delivering high-quality rehabilitation services, focusing on patient care and recovery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Implementing therapy interventions to improve mobility, function, and independence.
  • Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Providing supervision and guidance to therapy assistants and students.
  • Ensuring compliance with documentation, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Educating patients and families on treatment goals and rehabilitation strategies.
  • Participating in facility meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and survey preparedness.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or recognized foreign equivalent) in Physical Therapy.
  • Current and valid PT license/certification.
  • Experience working with adult/geriatric populations.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as patient transfers, equipment handling, and extended periods of standing/walking.
